EOTRR started taking in at risk equines in 2005 and in 2010 the sanctuary incorporated as a nonprofit and received its 501 © 3 IRS status. EOTRR has been inspected and licensed by the New Mexico Livestock Board and they do a yearly inspection. We are also a part of the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries, a world wide organization with high standards for their verified and accredited rescues.

EOTRR is dedicated  to allowing elderly, unsound and at risk equines, a safe place to live out their life, free of abuse or neglect.   Finding forever loving homes whenever possible.  In the process we hope to provide more educational opportunities for people so they don’t give up on their own horses and to provide some quality training for volunteers.

At this time the EOTRR has 33 horses on site and one in foster care. The horses range in age from 2 months to 29 years. Many of our horses have special needs which require special supplements and feed or medication.

With your support we can continue to care for our current residents and to provide a safety net for other at risk equines.
